About the programme

At Hull, as part of the Hull University Business School, you’ll study the latest marketing and management concepts, work on live business projects for international brands and be fully supported by passionate and expert staff, who offer practical, hands-on experience.

This Marketing and Management course at University of Hull prepares you for a range of careers.

You’ll learn to understand consumer behaviour and how to harness the power digital marketing and social media. And you’ll prepare for the challenge of staying up to date with the unpredictable, fast-paced business world. It’s designed to train you into a strategic decision-maker and an inventive problem-solver.

Taking part in our programme of live business projects will deepen and test your marketing skills, confidence and knowledge of marketing concepts. As part of the annual marketing challenge, students had the chance to work with Team GB with the challenge of creating a marketing strategy to keep fans engaged between Olympic Games.

You’ll also have the opportunity to take part in a placement year to gain valuable work experience- and get paid. Recent companies who have worked with our students include Siemens Games, Jaguar Land Rover, IBM and Sony. You’re supported throughout by our friendly tutors and professional staff. Not bad for enhancing the CV.
