Admissions
Make sure you take the time to complete the application in full, and you submit all the necessary supporting documents:
- copies of your academic qualifications, including transcripts of grades
- a copy of your passport (the page with your photo and personal details)
- an academic reference letter no more than three months old on university/college letter-headed paper*
- evidence of your work experience if applicable
- a portfolio of your work if you are applying for digital media, music or performance courses
- a financial guarantee letter if you are a sponsored student
- a certificate evidencing your English language ability
- a personal statement (also known as a statement of purpose)
*Postgraduate applicants are expected to submit professional references relevant to their work if appropriate
English Language Requirements
If your first language is not English, or you need a Tier 4 student visa to study, you will need to provide evidence of your English language proficiency before you can start your course.
We accept a range of English language tests and qualifications. In addition to the above listed English language qualifications, we accept the English language assessments provided by some UK Foundation providers.
- International English Language Test System (IELTS)
- TOEFL iBT – 79 overall and at least 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking, 17 in writing
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic score of 54 overall, with 51 in all four skills
- Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) – C or above
- Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) – C or above
- Cambridge 1119 O Level English Grade C
- ONCAMPUS English Language Assessment (all European locations) – 60% overall with at least 50% in all skills
- West African Examination Council (WAEC) – C/6 or better
- Indian Standard XII – 70%–75% in English
- Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) – 4 overall: minimum 3 in each skill (or level 3 overall for foundation year
Tuition Fees
Home/EU
- Undergraduate – £9,250 per year on a full-time degree.
- Postgraduate – £6,100-£11,550 per year for taught degrees.
International
- Undergraduate – our undergraduate tuition fees are £15,400 per year for arts programmes and £18,300 for science courses but double-check your course page because some courses vary slightly.
- Postgraduate – £10,000- £15,400 per year. This can vary, so take a look at your course page.
